你好吗..
好久没看见你了...是我太早, 还是你太迟?
还是换工作了?

十一年了

我不要求什么.
只要可以就这样远远地看着你, 我就满足了

Dear Kares & NC

Hope this message is not too late...
Wanted to send this earlier but I thought i would need some time to manage my thoughts and you all to settle down first after everything

Thank you NC...for making my journey in RSS SJAB such a fruitful one...at least on the aspect of Competition.

Ever since I first joined Competition in Sec 2(2007) till Sec 4(2009)... And being a trainer now...it has been 7 good long years... Every year...there would be good/bad news..

My first 2 years of NC and NA wasn't a smooth sailing one... Only until my last NA, which we finally managed to attain Champion in Zone Comp, to go for National Comp. That was also the year that all 3 teams that we sent attained Champion...we were all really happy and my team were crying years of joy... After 3 long years...and same team members...pushing on together
and we even had trainings during the June holidays... Who knows after school reopens in July... We received info that Nat Comp has been cancelled due to H1N1... There goes our FIRSt and LAST Nat. Comp

Yes...we were really sad and frustrated at that moment...but then on the other hand, we were occupied with O'levels preparation...so ya lo...studies more important la... Hahaha!

Then I began my journey as a trainer...
Ever since back in my cadet years... Our Corps were at disadvantage in terms of Home Nursing, as we do not have a 'fixed' Home Nursing instructor/trainer...and Home Nursing had always been our weakest section. And we have no idea of what expectations does the competition require from us...

So these few years....I've been cracking my brain...thinking...what exactly has went wrong? What does the judges want? More theory? More practical?
So every year...we have been trying different approaches to handle the home nursing case

But then no matter what changes we make... Our nursing teams over the years hasn't been performing well in terms of home nursing.. After all, our Corps' advantage is still First Aid

But that Home Nursing is still the major component for Nursing Category..so too bad for us lo... Furthermore...no proper home nursing room....no proper equipment... No proper bed... How to train?

The mattress that we have in the room was only bought in 2010 when I requested from Mr Low to buy... Then the pillow and the other Home Nursing equipment only came in when I was in Sec 4...

Everytime when I see our ambulance teams winning champion in zone comp...but then our nursing teams would be there crying because we got 2nd or 3rd just because of Home Nursing...
Our nursing teams did well for first aid and footdrill...but not home nursing...

Whenever I see home nursing case in nat comp... I would always imagine...how  would our nc/na perform if they were the ones doing the case... But then... Ya...

Im really Super duper extremely happy with your team's results....as I really didn't expect you all to get 1st for Home Nursing...I don't dare to pin such high hopes on that as I don't want you all to be stressed up and partly so that won't be so disappointed

I was so afraid that I would missed your teams' turn to do home nursing that I kept asking Ms Teo and WenJun to record down for me to see just in case I couldn't make it back in time from HQ...(i left for a short while after the first parade) but I still missed the first 15mins though... Hahaha

While waiting for your teams' turn for home nursing case, was telling Wenjun that actually I really hoped that you all can get something back for Home Nursing...one of the reasons was because to compensate my regrets for not being able to go for Nat. Comp due to H1N1 four years back.. And YOU ALL DID IT!!

Can't believe it when they announced that we got 1st in Home Nursing and I started screaming and tearing like dunno what... 😁 we were all cheering very loudly for you all!!! The zone officers also!!!

When the doctor finished announcing the 2nd and 1st runner-up for home nursing, Yishen was telling me...'is ok la...they are very good already...they have made it so far' and ta-da!!
FIRST in HOME NURSING!!!

And we met our goal!! To get something back for footdrill!! FIRST

Then overall 3rd!!! Which is a BIG BIG bonus!!!

You all have done really really a very very good job!!! At least I can tell myself that.... Our efforts and time put in were not wasted....
And Riverside SJAB is not just good in First Aid and Footdrill....and also Home Nursing!!!

Thank you NC!!! Now...I would have no regrets anymore... I can 'officially' step down from my role as Home Nursing Trainer...and hand it over to you all...which I'm sure that you all will be capable to take up the role!!

Thank you NC for letting me feel that I'm part of your team... Maybe I'm the No.7 of your team uh! But maybe not la... Age limit doesn't allows me to be in NC category... HAHAHA!

You all let me feel the satisfaction and joy of teaching/passing down of knowledge to somebody once again... Which i hope you all will carry on with it....

And I will always remember this forever

And a BIG thank you for putting a beautiful ending to my journey in RSS SJAB...and I will always remember the fun and laughters that we had together...

And of course my fellow officers, instructors and not forgetting TICs...

Thank you! 谢谢! Terima Kasih!

How are you?

Sunday, September 18, 2016

Is this how you are going to treat me?
Is it that difficult for you to just reply a simple 'thank you'

难到连朋友也没得当了?

好吗?

一直在告诉把你放下..
可是还是做不到
'忘不了就不要把他忘掉'
可以吗?
